FRANCOL Switch Plate Lube Heavy Thick is a solvent free blend of proprietary synthetic polyols and modified hydro-carbon fluid bases, complexed with synergistic lubricating solids and micro-coupling chemical agents that form a thixotropic matrix.

TYPICAL APPLICATION

• Railway Switches, racks & opinions, dipper sticks, circle rollers and rails and other mechanism that are found in the Mining, Steel, Cement, Sugar and other heavy sliding metal surfaces
• Gears and pinions that operate elevated temperatures (85ºC)

BENEFITS

• It is solvent free and can be dispensed without heating through conventional lubrication systems
• Contains no metal fillers
• Polymers ensure excellent adhesion to both sliding surface
• Complexing of micro-coupling agents and fluid stabilizers provides excellent adhesion and minimises fling-off
• The established soft pliable film provides high compressive strengths and low shear rates, while fluid stabilizers prevent residual build-up

NOTES

• Due to the unique properties of SPL Heavy Thick, it is not recommended for general purpose greasing
